STRESZCZENIE
W artykule omówiono podstawowe zasady projektowania konstrukcji stalowych, uwzględniające aspekty ochrony przed korozją. Zwrócono uwagę na prawidłowy dobór materiałów konstrukcyjnych oraz podano kryteria doboru powłokowego systemu ochrony, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem umiejscowienia procesów zabezpieczania w cyklu budowy i montażu obiektu.

SUMMARY
The paper presents main principles of the design of steel structures with special consideration of corrosion protection. The correct selection
of constructional materials and selection criteria of protective coating system were taken into consideration, with particular reference to the location of coating protection processes in the cycle of construction and assembly of the object.
