SUMMARY
The new technology of non- chromate conversion coatings formation on metal surfaces such as galvanized steel or electrodeposited coatings is described. The corrosion resistance of zinc coated with non-chromate coat-ings are comparable to the adequate systems with yellow chromate coatings. Non-chromate coatings are formed by “no rinse” immersion method in the bath which contains water dispersion of silicates, titanium(IV) complex ions, other transition metals ions and silanes.
