SUMMARY
It is necessary to have specific laws concerning anticorrosion work on the steel structures in order to provide a professional approach to this matter by the investor, designer, contractor, material producers and inspectors. The position of anticorrosion protection in Poland and other developed countries are compared in the paper. Some selected new anticorrosion products are also described.
