BRAZING OF HYDRAULIC,
PNEUMATIC AND FUEL LINES OF AIRCRAFT ENGINES
.

SUMMARY
The paper deals with selected issues related to the application of AgCu42Ni2 brazing alloy of hydraulic, pneumatic and fuel pipes used in aircraft engines. One of alloy feature is a significant difference between solidus (771oC) and liquidus (893 oC) temperatures, which has a tendency to split the brazing alloy into two phases during joining process. Construction of brazed elements and effect of some technological parameters on the quality of obtained joints are discussed.

Key words
Aircraft engine, vacuum brazing, hydraulic pipe, air pipe, AgCu42Ni2 brazing alloy 18-8 steel.
