SUMMARY
The method of increasing of friction wear resistance of fine dimensional drills (φ 0,2 do 2 mm) by ion plasma (sputtering) carburising deposition of nitride layers is presented. This kind of treatment allows to increase hardness of spade and spiral drills used in precision mechanics, aircraft and automotive industries.
